Hosted by UN Women UK and Code Coven: “The Safe Spaces Now Game Jam is a 7 day game jam where game developers and creators explore ways to foster safe spaces, both physical and virtual - and to prevent and mitigate abuse rooted in misogyny.”

Our Team’s Game
Lumina Academy is a a fantasy school adventure experience.  In a magic place like Lumina Academy you learn the power of creating your own magic and the importance of solidarity. Students face unexpected situations, needing the help of their friends to navigate through them.

Aimed at young children, the game is also a narrative choice based game, giving players the options to experience situations and responses.

We believe we can help to educate young people on traumas and unhealthy relationships before they happen, by educating ourselves as parents; teachers, friends and community members. for today’s new generation to create a magical, diverse, equal, safe world in solidarity and unity.
